I would add that there are two types of dandruff: dry (small flakes) and oily (bigger flakes). Hot oil treatments would be helpful in the first case (as with seborrhoic dermatitis, I guess). In the second you would have to kill the dandruff-causing bacteria with an anti-dandruff product containing zinc, sulfur etc. Alternatively you could try regular ACV rinses.
