If you are more of a visual learner watch the video below for a detailed demonstration on how you can make your own batch of the fabulous Kimmaytube Leave in conditioner.
Why does this recipe work?
It may seem counter intuitive to create a leave in conditioner* from a leave in conditioner* but Kimmaytube has successfully retained length and achieved her goal of waist length hair by consistently focusing on pH levels of products that she adds to her regimen.
Products with the proper slightly acidic pH will cause the hair cuticle to close and lock in moisturizer or water into your strands. The end result is that your hair will be softer and more flexible for longer which ultimately means that it will be less prone to breakage. If you have hair that never seems to hold on to moisture for more than a few hours, it may be worthwhile to try this recipe and see if it helps.
In addition to Aloe Vera Juice* there are other acidifiers that can help you to maintain the proper PH in your hair. Examples include, lemon juice with a pH level of 2.0, Apple Cider Vinegar* at 3.0 and lime juice at 2.0. I would be very careful with these however because even a bit too much lemon juice would make the entire mixture way too acidic.
To bring the acidifiers to the most appropriate level of 4.0 you would add in your favorite leave-in moisturizer and test the mixture to make sure you are at about 4.5 pH.
Weather you put much weight on her theory of focusing primarily on pH when picking hair products, there is no doubt that her concoction is truly magical for most of us adding much needed moisture to the most parched strands. And talk about shine, phew, with your cuticles slammed shut, you will be blinding people left right and center!
Have you tried the Kimmaytube Leave in? and if so what does your recipe look like?

This stuff is wonderful and easy to put together. You can get most of the ingredients at Trader Joes or any good hair beauty supply store
Zette says
I used this stuff and my hair felt wonderful but I am still a bit confused though.
Should I still seal with the oil and apply cream (LOC Method) after applying the leave in, even though the leave in mixure has oil in it already?
How often should I use this mixture per week? Is it only after the wash regimen.
Please help.

Look up the website “Puritans Pride” & they have Giovanni’s leave in for only 5.49 guys! That is not the best part, the best part is that everything on their website is FREE SHIPPING ALL YEAR ROUND! No minimum orders, no coupon codes needed or anything like that. No taxes charged either!
I came across this information while reading reviews on amazon (where they sell that same item for 8$ (with a minimum of 35$ order, or else you’ll pay extra for shipping) or 9$ each if you want free shipping.
It seems like a reputable site, and they accept paypal, so I just made my first order & although I have not tried the Giovanni’s leave in yet, I am excited to do so using this recipe & will definitely buy future bottles from that website if I end up liking it, as that’s the cheapest I’ve seen that product so far.
Hope this information saves someone else 3$ per bottle & gets that website more customers on this product, if you love it as much as many reviewers online do.
